Top 10 Book Boyfriends in 2011

Top 10 of 2011

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last year Jessica from Confessions of a Bookaholic and Lisa from A Life Bound By Books  posted some Top 10 lists the last week of 2010. For five days they recapped some of their favorite books, covers and characters. They also listed some books they were looking forward to in 2011.

This year they thought they’d do it again… just with a twist. They have invited some friends to help them co-host things and make an event out of it!

So this year Jessica and Lisa are teaming up with Jaime & Patricia from Two Chicks on Books, and Rachel from Fiktshun; to host this awesome blog hop/event! If you'd like to find out more about the hop and join in the fun just click the button at the top of this post and it'll take you to the original rules/info post about the hop!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, today is the third day in the Top 10 of 2011 hop, and the topic as you may have guessed is: Top 10 Book Boyfriends in 2011. This was definitely a fun list to make, and I tried really hard to keep it at just 10 or else I'd be rambling all day lol. So here are my picks:

1. Adrian Ivashkov from "Bloodlines" by Richelle Mead (he's also in "Vampire Academy"). I love everything about Adrian, plus he's hot so... yeah. I believe you get my point lol.

“Takes a lot of tries before you hit perfection." He paused to reconsider that. "Well, except for my parents. They got it on the first try."

2. Irial from the "Wicked Lovely" series by Melissa Marr. I adore Irial. Period. I mean honestly, how could you not?

“He looked good, like sin in a suit.”

3. Prince Ash from the "Iron Fey" series by Julie Kagawa. 100% team Ash here!

"His forehead bumped softly against mine, his brilliant silver gaze searing into me. “I plan to keep you, from everyone, for as long as I’m alive. That includes Puck, the false king, and anyone else who would take you away.” One corner of his mouth quirked, as I struggled to catch my breath under his powerful scrutiny. “I guess I should’ve warned you that I have a slight possessive streak.”

4. Dorian from the "Dark Swan" series by Richelle Mead.

"Since I'm presuming you don't mean you finally bought him a leash, let me say simply that there is a big difference between letting an animal ravage you and allowing yourself to be ravaged. One is common. The other is art. It is planned. Crafted, even. Only capable of being done by a master."

I believe that quote speaks for itself lol ;)

5. Four from "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. Loved him! He was definitely one of my favorite characters from Divergent

"You belong here, you know that?  You belong with us. It’ll be over soon, so just hold on, okay?"

6. Cassel from the "Curse Workers" series by Holly Black. He's slightly dark and definitely has that bad boy thing going on. But he's not all bad, and that makes him oh so appealing lol.

7. Archer from "Hex Hall" by Rachel Hawkins. Another bad boy with a sarcastic streak for the list (hmm I seem to have a pattern forming here lol)

“Actually, it’s Archer Cross, and I’m the first one. Now what about you?” He squinted. “Let’s see . . . brown hair, freckles, whole girl-next-door vibe going on . . . Allie? Lacie? Definitely something cutesy ending in ie.”

8. Sean from "The Scorpio Races" by Maggie Stiefvater. There's no way I could read this book and not love Sean, he's kind of quiet and brooding but he also has a good heart.

"I say, 'I will not be your weakness, Sean Kendrick.'
Now he looks at me. He says, very softly, 'It's late for that, Puck.”

9. Ky from "Matched" by Allie Condie. He's got to be one of the sweetest guy characters I've come across in a long time.

"Cassia. I know which life is my real one now, no matter what happens. It’s the one with you. For some reason, knowing that even one person knows my story makes things different. Maybe it’s like the poem says. Maybe this is my way of not going gentle. I love you"

10. Eric from the "Sookie Stackhouse" series. He's just pure hotness personified *sigh*...

“Your lips are bloody.' He seized my face in both hands and kissed me. It's hard not to respond when a master of the art of kissing is laying one on you.”

Who are some of your favorite book boyfriends for 2011?
