Q. What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

A.  Just one? Really??? I have a lot of favorite authors so this is definitely a tough one for me lol. But I think my choice would be:

Dear J.K. Rowling,
I can't even start to say how much I love your books. I'd always been a lover of Fantasy but I had never read anything like Harry Potter until I picked up that first book, and there was absolutely no going back after that! The world you created in Harry Potter is such a fantastically magical place to get lost in when you just need an escape from the mundane everyday world. No matter how many times I re-read them I can't imagine ever getting tired of these books, whenever I have kids someday I'll be completely ecstatic to introduce them to the greatness that is Harry Potter (It'll be required reading in my house along with a some others lol). Not only are the books amazing to read but the books and the writing itself are an inspiration, being able to create something that amazing is truly a gift and I'll always be grateful that you shared that with the world.

Your forever fan,
Taylor

Have a great day lovelies, and happy reading!

  3. Sigh. I love JK Rowling. Harry Potter is such a huge part of my life (I'm so original right...?) If I had lots and lots of money, I'd like to own all the different versions... differnt countries and languages. Sigh. I seriously love Harry Potter. I wouldn't know what to say to Jo, though, except for "Thank you."

  6. I think no matter how much time I spend thinking about what I'd like to tell her, everything feels so unimportant. She has had a great impact on my life, but there are so many other readers out there who have more to say that my little "Thank you" and "You made my life a better place when I felt like it wasn't worth much anymore" feel trivial and Facebook-ish. >_<
