Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

A. Okay this is a hard question, I have so many favorite authors so it's kind of difficult to choose. But that said, I think everyone has a few extra special favorite authors that they'd love to meet and get writing advice from or just hang out and talk to.

The three authors that I would most likely pick would be:

J.K Rowling. I've been a fan of Ms. Rowling since I read her very first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Not only would I like to get writing advice from her, I'd also love to just sit and talk to her. From what I know of her I've always thought she was an interesting person, and inspiring in her own way. So naturally I think meeting her would be a fantastic experience.

Melissa Marr. If you know me well then it's no secret that I love all things faerie. Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series is one of my favorites, I would love to meet her and pick her brain about writing, faeries, and folklore.

Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) that is if I could somehow either go back in time or bring him back to life :) I always thought it would be so cool to meet him, I adored his books as a kid and still do to this day. His books are one of the things that inspired me to start writing poems and they will always have a special place in my memories.

Happy Friday lovlies! :)

  1. Great answers! I'd love to sit with Rowling. Probably beg her for more HP to the point she kicks me out though. New follower! My answers are up at Coffee Table Reviews.

  2. Aimee,
Lol, I'd actually be kind of nervous to talk to her at first because I'm naturally shy and quiet. But she seems like a very down to earth person so I don't think the shyness would last long lol. Thanks for dropping by and following! :)

  17. Nora,
It was a pleasure to drop by :) I love J.K. Rowling!

    Read.Breathe.Relax,
Yes Dr. Seuss would be so cool to meet, anyone who could write such great rhymes that stick with people for so long is worth meeting :) I'd probably be a rambling mess actually meeting any of them though lol.

    Bookaddict102,
Woo a fellow Wicked Lovely fan! :) I've heard a few people say that it took them a little bit to get into the fourth book. I liked it but I liked some of the other books in the series better. Thanks so much for following! :)
